A message from David Frith
I was fortunate enough to grow up in the Sutherland Shire, attending local primary and secondary schools. When I made my career choice to become a plumber, I attended Gymea TAFE. I always had ambitions of owning my own business, so when I ventured out on my own, it was only natural to base myself in the Sutherland Shire. I have enjoyed providing maintenance plumbing to many local Sutherland Shire residents and businesses since becoming a licensed plumber nearly 30 years ago.
My wife and I have raised three children in the Sutherland Shire, with my youngest son following in my footsteps. Luke is an apprentice plumber working within our family business with hopes of one day taking over our plumbing company.
We have continued to build a relationship with local schools, sports clubs and charities. My wife and I regularly attend and support local events providing invaluable work experience to local high school students and participating in charity events and fundraisers.
I’m a proud resident and feel lucky to live here with my family.

I called this plumber because I was having an issue with my hot water supply. If my granddaughter had a bath at my house, I would run out of hot water and have no hot water left for the rest of the day.
I was told the problem could be fixed, and I paid $650 for the work. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed to say that the problem has not been resolved.
I have since tried to have a bath myself and can still only fill my spa bath to about one-third full before running out of hot water. I understand that it is a spa bath and requires more water than a standard bath, but my hot water system holds 300 litres, so I expected the issue I called about to be properly addressed.
For $650, I expected the hot water situation to be noticeably improved. As it stands, the problem is essentially the same as it was before the plumber attended, and I feel I have not received value for the money I paid.
I would have preferred to leave a positive review, but unfortunately I cannot recommend the service based on my experience. I hope the company will contact me and properly address the issue.

Proper notice was given prior to work commencing. Work was carried out within notified times. Site was properly secured to allow drying of concrete. barriers an boards covering the work were put in place for a reasonable period before being completely removed.

Made initial contact online, they replied back within an hour. Arranged a convenient time to inspect and create a Quotation, this was all done on the same day. Approved the Quote, they then confirmed when they could come to do. They then reconfirmed the appointment the day prior, very organised. Work performed by David & John was above my expectations. Very impressed with the prompt and professional service. Our plumber, John, arrived on time, and informed me what and when he was going to do certain work (replacing terracotta sewer with PVC). Concrete needed to be broken up and when John found there were remnants of concrete in the old trench, he removed this from the site together with the old pipe and other old builder's rubble. The site was left clean and tidy and plants replanted. Thank you so much for doing such a great job! Shall recommend David Frith Quality Plumbing Services to friends and neighbours! Truly deserving of the description "Quality Plumbing Services!"

I've been using David Frith Quality Plumbing Services for various jobs over the past 4 years and have consistently found them to be professional and respectful. Due to a council gum tree root invasion I recently needed to have my entire sewer line replaced which wasn't going to be quick, easy or cheap . Luke gave a very thorough inspection and analysis of our issue with noisy water flow, gave us a few options, then set about and fixed the problem. He was friendly, professional and great at explaining the problem and the best way to fix it. We thought he might need to make a second visit for the repair, but he went to get what he needed and returned to complete the job. Well done and thanks, Luke. We now have zero noise!
